It’s about passion and it’s about people<\/p>\n

What makes a good photo ?<\/p>\n

Well, the short answer is that if you like a\u00a0photo then it’s a good photo.<\/p>\n

Too often we fail to question ourselves about the reasons that make us like a photo.<\/p>\n

We all relate to a photo with our experience, our esthetic senses and culture.<\/p>\n

There is a part of me in every photo that I take, every photo tells a tale of who I am and how I see the world around me, just like the choices that we make define us.<\/p>\n

About this particular photo, the reasons why I love this photo are multiple<\/p>\n

First the subject itself is amazing to start with, they are quadruples, 4 wonderful sisters, in itself it’s already pretty much a miracle. They’re standing there together and laughing away, it breathes happiness and as we say in french \u00ab\u00a0joie de vivre\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

The scenery is amazing, sunset beach in the north coast of Taiwan, and it is shot through the viewfinder of my trusty old Rolleiflex, a 50 year old camera that has been with me since my college days in London.<\/p>\n

All those reasons combined make it a great photo in my book, one that I am proud to have taken and hope the 4 sisters will cherish forever.<\/p>\n
