Walking umbrella…

Henri Cartier Bresson used to take his trusted Leica everywhere he went, looking for what he called “l’instant decisif” the decisive moment.

I own more than 20 cameras, an addiction you may say to buy anything fitted with a lens, most of those are antiques and a few are digital mostly for work, but I don’t carry any around with me at all time, except that is for my Nokia camera…

So there it went :

I saw this scene as I walked down the street, wished I had my Rolleiflex or another 35mm camera loaded with film, as somehow I still think it should be captured on film. But the only camera I had was my mobile phone.

It is a lesson and a reminder that I should always carry a camera (a better one) with me, but the best camera is the one you have with you.

Have a nice day,

Nico
